An Arkona BLADE//runner connection always exposes exactly two Levels, Video and Audio, so there is no Levels field to configure: every source and destination on the device already carries this split, and Buttons follows it directly.
Before you begin#
- An Arkona BLADE//runner connection already added and connected. See Update a connection's module safely if you need to check or change the installed module version.
- Access to Connect → Connection to check configuration, and to Routing to take and verify routes.
Video-only and audio-only sources#
Some sources on a BLADE//runner system carry only one Level: a video signal generator, for example, has no audio, and a standalone audio signal generator has no video. Buttons only offers a source as a valid choice for the Level it actually carries, so a video-only generator won't appear when you're routing the Audio Level, and an audio-only generator won't appear for Video.
Route audio independently through a shuffler#
BLADE//runner's audio shufflers let individual audio channels be routed separately from the video they originated with. A shuffler appears in Buttons as its own set of Audio-Level sources and destinations (its inputs and outputs), so you can send one embedded audio channel to a shuffler input and take its output as a separate Audio-Level source elsewhere, independent of any Video-Level routing happening at the same time.
