This year we will show how Buttons is rapidly becoming the de facto standard for broadcast as well as pro AV installations. The latest release of Buttons will be unveiled, featuring high-performance and high-efficiency broadcast functionality. We will also show how our growing Connections programme is delivering real value for users and technology partners.
What to expect
The release of Buttons v1.8 is just around the corner and we'll be demoing all the new features and enhancements at our booth. There will be something new for all tiers and some new features specifically for Pro/Enterprise Tiers only.
Sneak peek: what's coming in the next Buttons update
- Tally Management: hook up dedicated TSL connections (or repurpose existing actions/feedbacks/variables from any connection) to drive tally data, with smart, relation-aware label and tally resolving built right in.
- Smarter Routing, Simplified: New virtual routing tools and automatic path-finding let operators manage complex signal chains without needing to master the underlying infrastructure.
- Built-in NMOS Registry: A native NMOS Registry Server plus a more capable Controller make network media discovery and setup easier than ever.
- Enterprise-Ready Security: New LDAP/Active Directory and OIDC single sign-on support, with smart role syncing built in.
- Automated Backups: Scheduled local backups with version history and one-click restore give you peace of mind.
- More Flexible Surfaces: Rotate surface orientation to match any mount, and pull live values straight from your connections with the new Learn controls.
- Powerful New Workflow Tools: Countdown/Stopwatch nodes and HTTP Request/Query nodes open the door to even more automation possibilities.
