Model M · Model N
This module will control the Model M or N automixer. There are 64 Madi or Dante inputs & outputs, and 16 adat inputs and outputs. Many functions will work with the Dugan-MY16 and other units.
IP and Port
Enter the IP address of the control NIC. The unit will accept connections on TCP:23 or TCP:9776 (and UDP:9776, not supported). This module defaults to TCP:23.
Poll Interval
Sets the frequency of channel and scene name updates, setting to zero turns off.
Metering Rate
Determines how frequently the level and gain reduction meters are polled. Turn off when using with any dugan model other than a Model M or N.
Automix Channels
The Model M & N default to 64, but can be set to any value between 8 and 64. Once connected the channel count is checked and adapted to if it differs. Correct setting aids in easy offline programming.
Messaging Rate
Can be left at fast most of the time. If you find commands are getting lost or responses are missing, especially over a WAN you may try slowing it down. Similarly the metering rate determines how fast the level and gain meters are polled - this will only work with the Model M & N. The dugans are succeptable to crashing when they recieve messages too quickly. If you encounter this issue, try slowing the messaging rate.
Unsolicited message subscription
Determines if the dugan will inform companion about changes from other clients; in general this should be on. Feedbacks will force subscriptions on if they are off.
Talking threshold
Sets the operational threshold for the Is Talking varibles. The function returns the channel with the least gain reduction at any time, as long as they are at or above the set threshold, otherwise nothing is returned. This function is part of the module and not native to the automixer. Metering must be enabled for this to function correctly.

Only the Model M & N are supported. With that said, the dugan units share a common api. The Model M & N represent a complete set of API commands. All other units (MY-16, Model-E3A, etc) support a subset of of these commands. The core channel controls are supported by all units. Set the the channel count to the appropriate value, turn the metering off, and ignore functions not supported by your unit. This is untested.
