Canon Browser Remote

This module will allow you to control a Canon Camera with the web Browser Remote such as the XF405, XF705, or C100. For the XF605, try the Canon-PTZ module which uses the XC protocol.

Configuration

• Enter the IP address of the Canon camera in the configuration settings.
• The device will use HTTP port 80.
• When the module is in use, the Browser Remote is unavailable due to limitations of the Canon software.
• The XF405 and XF705 models require a username/password. The C100 does not require credentials.
• For the Set White Balance function to work, you must first enable the Kelvin WB mode using the Kelvin Custom WB Mode action.
• The camera must be in Manual Focus Mode for the manual focus adjustments to work.
• The camera must be in Manual Iris Mode for the manual iris adjustments to work.
