Allen & Heath dLive & iLive Module

This module provides comprehensive control for Allen & Heath dLive and iLive digital mixing consoles via MIDI over TCP/IP.

Supported Consoles

• dLive Series: Full feature set with up to 128 input channels, 24 DCAs, and 500 scenes
• iLive Series: Compatible feature set with up to 64 input channels, 16 DCAs, and 250 scenes

Connection Setup

1. IP Address: Enter the IP address of your dLive Surface or MixRack
2. Console Type: Select either "dLive" or "iLive" to enable appropriate features
3. Network Ports:
   • MIDI Port: Configurable (default: 51328) - Used for basic mixer commands
   • TCP Port: Configurable (default: 51321) - Used for dLive advanced features only
4. MIDI Channel Configuration:
   • MIDI Channel for dLive System (N): Base MIDI channel for dLive system control (default: 0)
   • Note: dLive uses 5 consecutive MIDI channels (N through N+4) for different control types
5. Port Configuration: Both MIDI and TCP ports can be customized in the module configuration

dLive Only:

EQ Controls:

• EQ Enable/Disable Input Channel - Enable or disable EQ on input channels

Preamp Controls:

• Set Preamp Gain - Control preamp gain levels (-10dB to +50dB range)
• Toggle Preamp Pad - Enable/disable -20dB input pad

Filter Controls:

• Set High Pass Filter - Control HPF frequency (Off, 20Hz to 400Hz)

🎛️ UFX Card Controls (dLive Only)

The UFX card is an effects processing expansion card for dLive systems. These controls are available when UFX cards are installed:

UFX Global Controls:

• Set UFX Global Key - Control the global key setting for UFX processing (C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B)
• Set UFX Global Scale - Control the global scale setting for UFX processing (Major, Minor)

UFX Unit Controls:

• Set UFX Unit Parameter - Direct control of UFX unit parameters using MIDI channel M and control number
• Set UFX Unit Key Parameter - Control UFX unit key with automatic CC value scaling
• Set UFX Unit Scale Parameter - Control UFX unit scale with automatic CC value scaling (Major, Minor, Chromatic)

UFX Send/Return Controls:

• Mute UFX Stereo Send - Mute/unmute UFX stereo send buses (1-8)
• Mute UFX Stereo Return - Mute/unmute UFX stereo return channels (1-8)
• Set UFX Stereo Send Fader to Level - Control UFX stereo send master fader levels
• Set UFX Stereo Return Fader to Level - Control UFX stereo return fader levels
• Set UFX Stereo Send Level - Control individual UFX stereo send levels

Note: UFX unit controls require configuring individual MIDI channels (M) per UFX unit in the console's FX / UFX / Show Routing / MIDI Settings. These channels must be different from the main dLive system MIDI channels (N through N+4).

Fader Level Range

All fader controls use a precise dB scale:

• Range: -∞ to +10.5dB
• Resolution: 0.5dB steps
• Total Steps: 128 levels

• MIDI Implementation: Uses standard MIDI commands (Note On, Control Change, NRPN, SysEx, Pitchbend)
• UFX Card Support: Full support for UFX effects processing cards including parameter control and routing
