A position is one person's complete operating workspace in Buttons. It holds the surfaces that person uses, the buttons and sections laid out on its canvas, and the navigation and variable state that belong to that workspace alone. Several positions can control the same production systems without interfering with each other. These pages are for anyone who builds or maintains a position: start by understanding what a position is and creating one, then build buttons with actions and feedback, organize them into sections, and add routing panels where operators need to take routes.
