NMOS lets IP media devices from different vendors describe themselves and expose controllable connections in a consistent way. Buttons can find NMOS nodes directly on the network or through a registry, adopt them as connections, and route their senders and receivers the same way it routes any other source or destination. These pages are for the people who set up and maintain IP media routing in a facility: start with the concepts, then pick the discovery path that fits your network, and come back to the connection settings, inventory, multicast management, and troubleshooting pages as you need them.
