# Access

> Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, sessions, PIN and NFC sign-in, and single sign-on.

Every person who uses Buttons gets their own account, and roles decide what each account can see and do. These pages cover creating users, building roles and scoping them to specific resources, showing different controls by role, reviewing active sessions, and setting up PIN or NFC identification at a control surface. They are for administrators who manage who can reach Buttons. If your organization already runs an identity provider, the SSO pages cover connecting it and mapping its groups or claims to Buttons roles.
